Last night, I had a dream about cobwebs.
Just because you’ve had something in your life for a long time doesn’t mean you have to keep it forever.

She set off in search of clarity; a place to rest.
Away from the dark, her heart’s fractures slowly mended.
And from those stubborn few that would not heal, sprang forth new growth, the way flowers grow in the cracks of a sidewalk.
At last, she knew exactly what she needed to do.

She had often become acquainted with a delightful madness. A tingling insanity. A shortness of breath.
Her eyes could look through the sky to see what was on the other side.
